Obtaining a California Insurance License
File Application
Application maybe filed with the California Department of insurance anytime before, after or during your pre-licensing course instruction. Once Application filing is completed and Fees have been paid. Applicant may go back to the California department of insurance to select & schedule examination date. Application filing Fees as of July 1st will be $136.00 application filing plus 39.00 exam fee total of $175.00; this fee is valid for one year from filing date
To File go to our home page and click on Career Resources
1. Click on California Insurance License Application
2. This will take you to site click on Start a New Application
3. After completing they will ask to proceed to payment
4. Make sure you save and if Possible print your application
(Keep for Personal Reasons)
5. After Payment is made; go back to our Home Page
6. Click on Career Resources then
7. Click on Schedule Insurance Examination
