California Continuing Education Ethics Requirements

(For all agents)

Currently Section 2188 et seq. of the California Code of Regulations are being amended. Part of the proposed changes will require that Life Agents and Fire & Casualty – Broker/Agents complete four (4) hours of ethics training during their two-year license period. Personal Lines Licensees will be required to complete two (2) hours of ethics training during their two-year license period. The requirement will be part of, not in addition to, the California agent's current continuing education requirement.
